September 16, 2025: Fife Lake, MI 49633 Onaway Cardinals (Onaway, MI) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the host Forest Area Warriors (Fife Lake, MI), 3-2 in a league test.
With the win, Onaway improves its record to 8-3 on the season. The Cardinals host Harbor Light Christian (Harbor Springs, MI) to meet the Swordsmen in a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 18. The Swordsmen come into the challenge with a record of 2-5. Harbor Light Christian won 3-0 in their recent league challenge against Alanson (Alanson, MI)
Next, the Warriors meet the St. Mary Cathedral Snowbirds (Gaylord, MI) in a Ski-Valley challenge, on Tuesday, September 23. Forest Area will attempt to upgrade on its 0-8 season record. The Snowbirds come into the challenge with a 4-3 record after their 3-1 league win over Pellston (Pellston, MI).
