With the win, Johnson improves its record to 8-3 on the season. The Panthers travel to Josey (Augusta, GA) to encounter the Eagles in a 2A Area 4 battle on Thursday, September 18. The Eagles go into the battle with a record of 0-7. Josey lost 2-0 in their recent non-league battle against Hephzibah (Hephzibah, GA)
The Spartans now own a 1-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Laney for a 2A Area 4 contest on Tuesday, September 16.
