The Great Bend Panthers volleyball squad (Great Bend, KS), was edged 2-1 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Manhattan Indians (Manhattan, KS)

With the win, Manhattan improves its record to 7-3 on the season. The Indians host Tonganoxie (Tonganoxie, KS) to encounter the Chieftains in a non-league battle on Monday, September 22. The Chieftains enter the contest with a record of 9-4. Tonganoxie lost 2-1 in their recent non-league contest against Emporia (Emporia, KS)
