Texas High School Volleyball - Oakwood bounced by Mildred
September 16, 2025: Oakwood, TX 75855 Mildred Eagles (Corsicana, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they observed their volleyball team overcome the host Oakwood Panthers (Oakwood, TX), 3-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Eagles (19-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Cross Roads (Malakoff, TX). The Bobcats enter the 2A Region III District 21 challenge with a 3-14 record.
Next, the Panthers meet the Kerens Bobcats (Kerens, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 19. Oakwood will attempt to upgrade on its 6-10 season record. The Bobcats enter the challenge with a 10-14 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Dawson (Dawson, TX).
