With the win, Southside improves its record to 4-2 on the season. The Sharks host St. Thomas More (Lafayette, LA) to encounter the Cougars in a non-league battle on Thursday, September 18. The Cougars go into the battle with a record of 13-0. St. Thomas More won 3-0 in their recent non-league battle against Catholic - N.I. (New Iberia, LA)
The Broncos now have a 6-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Barbe for a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 18. Sam Houston will meet a Buccaneers team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Iowa (Iowa, LA). The Buccaneers record now stands at 6-2.
