September 16, 2025: St. Pauls, NC 28384 St. Pauls Bulldogs (St. Pauls, NC) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the visiting Westover Wolverines (Fayetteville, NC), 3-2 in a league test.
With the win, St. Pauls improves its record to 3-7 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to South View (Hope Mills, NC) to encounter the Tigers in a Eastern Sandhills 5A/6A challenge on Thursday, September 18. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 4-6. South View won 3-0 in their recent league challenge against Douglas Byrd (Fayetteville, NC)
Next, the Wolverines meet the Seventy-First Falcons (Fayetteville, NC) in a Eastern Sandhills 5A/6A challenge, on Thursday, September 18. Westover will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Falcons enter the challenge with a 3-5 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Terry Sanford (Fayetteville, NC).
