The Freedom Patriots football squad scored 42 points and restricted the visiting Central Cabarrus Vikings to 19 in the Patriots non-league victory on Friday.

The Patriots now possess a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hibriten for a 3A/4A West Conference 52 battle on Friday, October 1.

Coming up next, the Vikings face the Concord Spiders (Concord, NC) in a 3A West Conference 48 battle, on Friday, September 24. Central Cabarrus will attempt to advance on its 0-3 season record. The Spiders enter the battle with a 1-2 record after their 36-0 league win over East Rowan (Salisbury, NC).
