Virginia High School Football - Fort Chiswell knocked off by Floyd County
September 17, 2021: Floyd, VA 24091 Floyd County Buffaloes (Floyd, VA) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the visiting Fort Chiswell Pioneers (Max Meadows, VA), 18-6 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Floyd County improves its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Buffaloes travel to Carroll County (Hillsville, VA) to battle the Cavaliers in a Three Rivers test on Friday, October 1. The Cavaliers come into the test with a record of 0-3.
With the loss, Fort Chiswell drops to 0-4 on the campaign. The Pioneers travel to Giles (Pearisburg, VA) to battle the Spartans in a non-league test on Friday, September 24. The Spartans come into the test with a record of 3-1. Giles won 41-6 in their recent non-league test against Narrows (Narrows, VA)
