September 17, 2021: Allentown, PA 18109 The Pocono Mountain West Panthers (Pocono Summit, PA) football routed the host Louis E. Dieruff Huskies (Allentown, PA), 44-2 in Friday's league bout.
In their next game, the Panthers face the Stroudsburg Mountaineers (Stroudsburg, PA) in a Eastern Pennsylvania - North bout, on Friday, September 24. Pocono Mountain West will attempt to advance on its 1-3 season record. The Mountaineers enter the bout with a 2-2 record after their 23-22 non-league win over Liberty (Bethlehem, PA).
The Huskies (0-4) will now prepare for their bout against Pleasant Valley (Brodheadsville, PA). The Bears enter the Eastern Pennsylvania - North bout with a 2-1 record. In their last bout, Pleasant Valley was overwhelmed by East Stroudsburg South (East Stroudsburg, PA), 36-14, in a league bout.
