September 17, 2021: Bakersville, NC 28705 The Mitchell Mountaineers football squad scored 63 points and limited the visiting Madison Patriots to 20 in the Mountaineers league win on Friday.
The Mountaineers now possess a 3-2 record. They play next when they travel to Owen for a 1A/2A West Conference 42 battle on Friday, September 24. Mitchell will play a Warhorses squad coming off a 36-7 league loss to Draughn (Valdese, NC). The Warhorses record now stands at 1-3.
