The Melba Mustangs overwhelmed the host Valley Vikings football team by a score of 71-0 in Friday's non-league challenge.

The Mustangs (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Cole Valley Christian (Meridian, ID). The Chargers come into the 2A Western Idaho challenge with a 3-1 record. In their last challenge, Cole Valley Christian was ripped by West Side (Dayton, ID), 47-14, in a non-league challenge.

The Vikings now sport a 0-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Nampa Christian for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 24. Valley will meet a Trojans team coming off a 49-0 league win over Marsing (Marsing, ID). The Trojans record now stands at 3-1.
