The Nikiski Bulldogs football team (Nikiski, AK), was ripped 62-12 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host Redington Huskies (Wasilla, AK)

The Huskies (5-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Homer (Homer, AK). The Mariners come into the Mid Alaska challenge with a 1-4 record. In their last challenge, Homer was ripped by Kenai Central (Kenai, AK), 27-22, in a league challenge.

The Bulldogs now sport a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they host Valdez for a Denali challenge on Saturday, September 25. Nikiski will meet a Buccaneers team coming off a 54-50 league loss to Seward (Seward, AK). The Buccaneers record now stands at 2-2.
