September 17, 2021: Wheeling, WV 26003 The Shadyside Tigers thwarted the host Wheeling Central Catholic Maroon Knights football team by a count of 33-21 in Friday's league outing.
With the win, Shadyside upgrades its record to 5-0 on the season. The Tigers host River (Hannibal, OH) to confront the Pilots in a non-league test on Friday, September 24. The Pilots come into the test with a record of 2-3. River lost 40-21 in their recent league test against Barnesville (Barnesville, OH)
With the loss, Wheeling Central Catholic drops to 2-2 on the campaign. The Maroon knights host Man (Man, WV) to confront the Hillbillies in a non-league test on Friday, September 24. The Hillbillies come into the test with a record of 2-1.
