Wyoming High School Football - Wind River nips Southeast
September 17, 2021: Yoder, WY 82244 In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Wind River Cougars football squad scored a close 8-6 victory over the Southeast Cyclones.
In their next game, the Cougars clash with the Shoshoni Wranglers (Shoshoni, WY) in a 9-Man West (9 Man) match, on Thursday, September 23. Wind River will attempt to move on its 3-0 season record. The Wranglers enter the match with a 3-0 record after their 72-6 league win over St. Stephens (St. Stephens, WY).
The Cyclones (1-2) will now prepare for their match against Pine Bluffs (Pine Bluffs, WY). The Hornets enter the 9-Man East (9 Man) match with a 3-0 record. In their last match, Pine Bluffs held off Saratoga (Saratoga, WY), 52-0, in a league match.
