The Southwest DeKalb Panthers thwarted the visiting Tucker Tigers football team by a count of 34-9 in Friday's league outing.

With the win, Southwest DeKalb upgrades its record to 1-3 on the season. The Panthers host Lithonia (Lithonia, GA) to encounter the Bulldogs in a AAAAA Region 5 outing on Friday, September 24. The Bulldogs go into the outing with a record of 0-4. Lithonia lost 38-8 in their recent non-league outing against Dougherty (Albany, GA)
