The Wasilla Warriors football team (Wasilla, AK), was tipped 24-21 in Saturday's league challenge with the visiting Eagle River Wolves (Eagle River, AK)

The Wolves (4-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Chugiak (Chugiak, AK). The Mustangs come into the Northern Lights challenge with a 2-4 record. In their last challenge, Chugiak was tipped by Houston (Big Lake, AK), 20-9, in a non-league challenge.

The Warriors now sport a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they host Soldotna for a Northern Lights challenge on Friday, September 23. Wasilla will meet a Stars team coming off a 49-7 league win over Palmer (Palmer, AK). The Stars record now stands at 6-0.
