The St. Anthony's Friars football team (Melville, NY), was beaten 63-49 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the host St. Joseph Regional Green Knights (Montvale, NJ)

The Green Knights (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Peter's Prep (Jersey City, NJ). The Marauders come into the Super - United Red challenge with a 3-1 record. In their last challenge, St. Peter's Prep achieved victory over Delbarton (Morristown, NJ), 32-27, in a non-league challenge.

The Friars now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Monsignor Farrell for a Catholic AAA challenge on Friday, September 23. St. Anthony's will meet a Lions team coming off a 33-14 non-league loss to Hudson Catholic (Jersey City, NJ). The Lions record now stands at 1-2.
