September 17, 2022: Albuquerque, NM 87114 The Volcano Vista Hawks volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Los Lunas Tigers to 0 in the Hawks non-league victory on Saturday.
The Hawks now have a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Eldorado for a non-league game on Tuesday, September 20. Volcano Vista will meet a Golden Eagles team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Hope Christian (Albuquerque, NM). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 2-2.
The Tigers (3-2) will now prepare for their game against Santa Teresa (Santa Teresa, NM). The Desert Warriors enter the non-league game with a 0-1 record. In their last game, Santa Teresa dropped by Valencia (Los Lunas, NM), 2-0, in a non-league game.
