Kentucky High School Soccer - Whitley County overwhelmed by Great Crossing
September 17, 2022: Williamsburg, KY 40769 The crowd at Saturday's non-league test between the Great Crossing (Georgetown, KY) and the host Whitley County Colonels (Williamsburg, KY), saw Great Crossing's soccer squad triumph over Whitley County by a margin of 10-0.
The now sport a 7-4 record. They play next when they host Lafayette for a non-league test on Monday, September 19. Great Crossing will meet a Generals squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Bryan Station (Lexington, KY). The Generals record now stands at 8-5.
With the loss, Whitley County drops to 6-6 on the season. The Colonels travel to South Laurel (London, KY) to meet the Cardinals in a District 49 test on Tuesday, September 20. The Cardinals come into the test with a record of 4-8. South Laurel lost 9-3 in their recent non-league test against Oneida Baptist Institute (Oneida, KY)
