Illinois High School Soccer - Montini Catholic nudges Niles West
September 17, 2022: Lombard, IL 60148 Montini Catholic Broncos (Lombard, IL) fans were pleased Saturday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Niles West Wolves (Skokie, IL), 4-3 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Broncos confront the Marmion Cadets (Aurora, IL) in a Chicago Catholic challenge, on Tuesday, September 20. Montini Catholic will attempt to better on its 2-7 season record. The Cadets enter the challenge with a 3-4 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to West Aurora (Aurora, IL).
The Wolves now have a 1-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Maine South for a Central Suburban - South challenge on Tuesday, September 20. Niles West will confront a Hawks team coming off a 3-0 league win over Glenbrook North (Northbrook, IL). The Hawks record now stands at 6-3.
