In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting Floyd Central Highlanders volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Brownstown Central Braves.

The Highlanders (15-6) will now prepare for their battle against Castle (Newburgh, IN). The Knights come into the non-league battle with a 13-3 record. In their last battle, Castle achieved victory over Evansville Central (Evansville, IN), 3-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Braves encounter the Silver Creek Dragons (Sellersburg, IN) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, September 17. Brownstown Central will attempt to advance on its 8-12 season record. The Dragons come into the battle with a 10-5 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Trinity Lutheran (Seymour, IN).
