Texas High School Volleyball - Sonora can't hold off Comfort
September 17, 2022: Comfort, TX 78013 In Saturday's non-league battle, the host Comfort Bobcats/Deer volleyball team scored a tight 3-2 triumph over the Sonora Broncos.
The Bobcats/Deer (9-7) will now prepare for their battle against Llano (Llano, TX). The Yellowjackets come into the 3A Region I District 5 battle with a 8-15 record. In their last battle, Llano was edged by Harper (Harper, TX), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Broncos encounter the Lake View Chiefs (San Angelo, TX) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, September 20. Sonora will attempt to move on its 18-9 season record. The Chiefs come into the battle with a 7-10 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Coahoma (Coahoma, TX).
