California High School Volleyball - Monte Vista Christian can't hold off Edison
September 17, 2022: Watsonville, CA 95076 In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting Edison Tigers volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Monte Vista Christian Mustangs.
The Tigers (9-12) will now prepare for their battle against Leland (San Jose, CA). The Chargers come into the non-league battle with a 1-5 record. In their last battle, Leland was edged by Cupertino (Cupertino, CA), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Mustangs clash with the Stevenson Pirates (Pebble Beach, CA) in a Pacific Coast - Mission battle, on Tuesday, September 20. Monte Vista Christian will attempt to advance on its 6-1 season record. The Pirates come into the battle with a 2-3 record after their 3-1 league loss to King City (King City, CA).
