Illinois High School Volleyball - Schaumburg edged by Glenbard West
September 17, 2022: Glen Ellyn, IL 60137 The Glenbard West Hilltoppers held off the visiting Schaumburg Saxons volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Hilltoppers now have a 14-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Francis for a non-league test on Saturday, September 17. Glenbard West will confront a Spartans team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Glenbard North (Carol Stream, IL). The Spartans record now stands at 9-9.
The Saxons (3-10) will now prepare for their test against Joliet West (Joliet, IL). The Tigers enter the non-league test with a 10-5 record. In their last test, Joliet West held off Glenbard South (Glen Ellyn, IL), 2-0, in a non-league test.
