The South Lyon East Cougars held off the host Groves Falcons volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Cougars now have a 13-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Garden City for a non-league test on Saturday, September 17.

The Falcons (0-5) will now prepare for their test against Berkley (Berkley, MI). The Bears enter the Oakland - White test with a 24-4 record. In their last test, Berkley held off Marine City (Marine City, MI), 2-0, in a non-league test.
