Illinois High School Volleyball - Liberty tips New Berlin
September 17, 2022: New Berlin, IL 62670 The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Liberty Eagles (Liberty, IL) and the host New Berlin Pretzels (New Berlin, IL), saw Liberty's volleyball squad nip New Berlin by a tally of 2-1.
With the win, Liberty upgrades its record to 6-9 on the year. The Eagles travel to Brown County (Mt. Sterling, IL) to play the Hornets in a non-league bout on Monday, September 19. The Hornets go into the bout with a record of 7-5. Brown County lost 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Quincy Notre Dame (Quincy, IL)
The Pretzels now own a 4-7 record. They play next when they host Illini Central for a Tomahawk bout on Thursday, September 22. New Berlin will play a Cougars squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to Olympia (Stanford, IL). The Cougars record now stands at 3-8.
