Ohio High School Volleyball - Lucas can't hold off Western Reserve

In Saturday's non-league battle, the host Western Reserve Roughriders volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Lucas Cubs.

The Roughriders (8-4) will now prepare for their battle against Maumee (Maumee, OH). The Panthers come into the non-league battle with a 3-5 record. In their last battle, Maumee was edged by Northview (Sylvania, OH), 3-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Cubs clash with the Sandusky Blue Streaks (Sandusky, OH) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, September 17. Lucas will attempt to advance on its 9-6 season record. The Blue Streaks come into the battle with a 3-8 record after their 3-1 league loss to Norwalk (Norwalk, OH).
