September 17, 2024: Alcoa, TN 37701 Maryville Red Rebels (Maryville, TN) boosters exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the host Alcoa Tornadoes (Alcoa, TN), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Maryville moves its record to 3-8 on the campaign. The Red Rebels host Bearden (Knoxville, TN) to clash with the Bulldogs in a AAA District 4 test on Thursday, September 19. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 9-1. Bearden won 1-0 in their recent non-league test against Baylor (Chattanooga, TN)
The Tornadoes now sport a 4-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Loudon for a AA District 5 test on Tuesday, September 24. Alcoa will clash with a Redskins team coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Bradley Central (Cleveland, TN). The Redskins record now stands at 7-3.
