North Carolina High School Soccer - Wesleyan Christian Academy toppled by Asheboro
September 17, 2024: Asheboro, NC 27203 Asheboro Blue Comets (Asheboro, NC) backers exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Wesleyan Christian Academy Trojans (High Point, NC), 7-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Asheboro advances its record to 6-1 on the campaign. The Blue Comets travel to Oak Grove (Winston-Salem, NC) to clash with the Grizzlies in a non-league test on Wednesday, September 25. The Grizzlies come into the test with a record of 4-4. Oak Grove lost 1-0 in their recent non-league test against Hibriten (Lenoir, NC)
The Trojans now have a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they host Southwestern Randolph for a non-league test on Friday, October 11.
