September 17, 2024: South Deerfield, MA 01373 The Longmeadow Lancers edged the host Frontier Regional Red Hawks volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Tuesday's non-league game.
Next up, the Lancers confront the Westfield Bombers (Westfield, MA) in a non-league game, on Thursday, September 19. Longmeadow will attempt to advance on its 2-0 season record. The Bombers go into the game with a 1-2 record after their 2-1 league loss to Amherst-Pelham Regional (Amherst, MA).
The Red Hawks (0-6) will now prepare for their game against Minnechaug Regional (Wilbraham, MA). The Falcons go into the non-league game with a 1-1 record. In their last game, Minnechaug Regional nudged Central (Springfield, MA), 2-1, in a non-league game.
