September 17, 2024: Covington, KY 41014 The Hughes BIG RED soccer team (Cincinnati, OH), was overwhelmed 9-1 in Tuesday's non-league match with the host Holmes Bulldogs (Covington, KY)
With the triumph, Holmes moves its record to 5-6 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Beechwood (Fort Mitchell, KY) to meet the Tigers in a District 35 match on Thursday, September 19. The Tigers come into the match with a record of 4-4. Beechwood won 4-0 in their recent non-league match against Villa Madonna (Covington, KY)
The BIG RED now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Aiken for a non-league match on Wednesday, September 18. Hughes will meet a Falcons team coming off a 8-0 non-league loss to Cooper (Union, KY). The Falcons record now stands at 2-6.
