September 17, 2024: Lake Orion, MI 48360 Lake Orion Dragons (Lake Orion, MI) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting Seaholm/Groves Maples (Birmingham, MI), 4-1 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Lake Orion moves its record to 6-1 on the campaign. The Dragons host Rochester (Rochester Hills, MI) to clash with the Falcons in a Oakland - Red test on Monday, September 23. The Falcons come into the test with a record of 6-5. Rochester won 3-1 in their recent non-league test against Farmington (Farmington, MI)
The Maples now sport a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ferndale for a non-league test on Thursday, September 19. Seaholm/Groves will clash with a Eagles team coming off a 6-0 league win over Southfield Arts & Tech (Southfield, MI). The Eagles record now stands at 5-2.
