September 17, 2024: Monticello, KY 42633 Fans at Tuesday's league battle between the Wayne County Cardinals (Monticello, KY) and the visiting Somerset Christian Cougars (Somerset, KY), saw Wayne County's soccer squad hold off Somerset Christian by a score of 1-0.
The Cardinals (9-5) will now prepare for their battle against Butler (Louisville, KY). The Bears enter the non-league battle with a 11-0 record. In their last battle, Butler tipped Fern Creek (Louisville, KY), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
