Georgia High School Softball - Buford bounces Winder-Barrow
September 17, 2024: Buford, GA 30518 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Buford Wolves (Buford, GA) and the visiting Winder-Barrow Bulldoggs (Winder, GA), observed Buford's softball team notch a victory over Winder-Barrow by a tally of 12-0.
The Wolves (15-1) will now prepare for their bout against River Ridge (Woodstock, GA). The Knights go into the non-league bout with a 7-9 record. In their last bout, River Ridge was routed by Sequoyah (Canton, GA), 2-1, in a non-league bout.
In their next game, the Bulldoggs battle the Alcovy Tigers (Covington, GA) in a 5A Region 8 bout, on Thursday, September 19. Winder-Barrow will attempt to advance on its 9-8 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 7-10 record after their 15-8 non-league loss to South Effingham (Guyton, GA).
