Georgia High School Softball - Cook bounces Crisp County
September 17, 2024: Adel, GA 31620 The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Cook Hornets (Adel, GA) and the visiting Crisp County Cougars (Cordele, GA), observed Cook's softball team notch a victory over Crisp County by a tally of 13-0.
The Hornets (12-3) will now prepare for their bout against Berrien (Nashville, GA). The Rebels go into the non-league bout with a 7-9 record. In their last bout, Berrien was routed by Lanier County (Lakeland, GA), 7-3, in a non-league bout.
In their next game, the Cougars battle the Tattnall County Warriors (Reidsville, GA) in a 2A Region 3 bout, on Thursday, September 19. Crisp County will attempt to advance on its 4-8 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 2-9 record after their 11-0 league loss to Pierce County (Blackshear, GA).
