September 17, 2024: Nine Mile Falls, WA 99026 Lakeside Eagles (Nine Mile Falls, WA) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Cheney Blackhawks (Cheney, WA), 3-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Lakeside improves its record to 4-1 on the season. The Eagles host Lake Roosevelt (Coulee Dam, WA) to encounter the Raiders in a non-league test on Wednesday, September 18. The Raiders go into the test with a record of 1-2. Lake Roosevelt lost 3-1 in their recent league test against Liberty Bell (Winthrop, WA)
The Blackhawks now own a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ferris for a 3A/4A Greater Spokane test on Friday, September 20. Cheney will encounter a Saxons squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Colfax (Colfax, WA). The Saxons record now stands at 2-2.
