Ohio High School Soccer - Marlington toppled by Minerva

Minerva Lions (Minerva, OH) backers exited the stadium pleased Wednesday as they witnessed their soccer team beat the visiting Marlington Dukes (Alliance, OH), 4-0 in a league test.

With the triumph, Minerva advances its record to 4-5 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Tuscarawas Valley (Zoarville, OH) to clash with the Trojans in a non-league test on Saturday, September 20. The Trojans come into the test with a record of 7-4. Tuscarawas Valley won 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Waynedale (Apple Creek, OH)

The Dukes now have a 1-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Woodridge for a non-league test on Thursday, September 18. Marlington will play a Bulldogs squad coming off a 2-1 league loss to Norton (Norton, OH). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-4.
