New York High School Soccer - St. John's Prep knocks off Mt. St. Michael Academy
September 17, 2025: Bronx, NY 10466 Fans at Wednesday's league battle between the St. John's Prep Johnnies (Collegeville, MN) and the host Mt. St. Michael Academy Mountaineers (Bronx, NY), saw St. John's Prep's soccer squad prevail over Mt. St. Michael Academy by a count of 4-0.
The Johnnies (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Minnewaska Area (Glenwood, MN). The Lakers enter the non-league battle with a 0-0 record.
Next up, the Mountaineers confront the St. Joseph-by-the-Sea Vikings (Staten Island, NY) in a battle, on Saturday, October 4. Mt. St. Michael Academy will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record.
