The Mavericks (6-0) will now prepare for their contest against Piedmont (Monroe, NC). The Panthers enter the non-league contest with a 3-6 record. In their last contest, Piedmont was knocked off by Charlotte Catholic (Charlotte, NC), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
The Knights now own a 6-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mallard Creek for a non-league battle on Thursday, September 18. Ardrey Kell will encounter a Mavericks squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to South Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC). The Mavericks record now stands at 1-10.
