Massachusetts High School Volleyball - Ayer Shirley over Southbridge
September 17, 2025: Ayer, MA 01432 In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the host Ayer Shirley Panthers volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Southbridge Pioneers.
The Panthers (4-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Burncoat (Worcester, MA). The Patriots come into the non-league challenge with a 6-1 record. In their last test, Burncoat gained a win over Blackstone-Millville (Blackstone, MA), 3-0, in a non-league test.
The Pioneers now sport a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Notre Dame Academy for a Central Mass test on Friday, September 19. Southbridge will face a Rebels squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Assabet Valley RVT (Marlborough, MA). The Rebels record now stands at 5-0.
