Fans at Wednesday's non-league contest between the Benet Academy Redwings (Lisle, IL) and the visiting Geneva Vikings (Geneva, IL), observed Benet Academy's volleyball team top Geneva by a count of 2-0.

The Redwings (13-1) will now prepare for their battle against Saint Viator (Arlington Heights, IL). The Lions go into the East Suburban Catholic battle with a 12-3 record. In their last battle, Saint Viator achieved victory over Rolling Meadows (Rolling Meadows, IL), 2-0, in a non-league battle.

The Vikings now own a 7-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fenwick for a non-league battle on Wednesday, September 17. Geneva will meet a Friars team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Chicago University (Chicago, IL). The Friars record now stands at 12-5.
