September 17, 2025: Goochland, VA 23063 Goochland Bulldogs (Goochland, VA) boosters left the game satisfied Wednesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Maggie Walker (Richmond, VA), 3-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Goochland improves its record to 4-4 on the season. The Bulldogs host Western Albemarle (Crozet, VA) to meet the Warriors in a Jefferson challenge on Thursday, September 18. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 8-4. Western Albemarle won 3-0 in their recent league challenge against Monticello (Charlottesville, VA)
Next, the meet the Freeman Mavericks (Richmond, VA) in a Colonial challenge, on Thursday, September 18. Maggie Walker will attempt to upgrade on its 6-3 season record. The Mavericks come into the challenge with a 6-1 record after their 3-2 league loss to Godwin (Richmond, VA).
