With the win, Sipsey Valley improves its record to 10-7 on the season. The Bears host Northside (Northport, AL) to encounter the Rams in a non-league battle on Thursday, September 18. The Rams go into the battle with a record of 17-2. Northside lost 3-1 in their recent league battle against John Carroll Catholic (Birmingham, AL)
The Wildcats now own a 1-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Gordo for a non-league contest on Thursday, September 18. Hale County will meet a Green Wave team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Winfield (Winfield, AL). The Green Wave record now stands at 3-4.
