In Wednesday's league challenge, the host Joel Barlow Falcons volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the New Milford Green Wave.

With the win, Joel Barlow improves its record to 3-3 on the season. The Falcons host Newtown (Newtown, CT) to face the Nighthawks in a Southwest-Colonial test on Wednesday, September 24. The Nighthawks go into the test with a record of 3-5. Newtown won 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Woodstock Academy (Woodstock, CT)

The Green Wave now own a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bunnell for a Southwest-Colonial challenge on Friday, September 19. New Milford will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 3-2 league loss to Pomperaug (Southbury, CT). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-7.
