Pennsylvania High School Football - Allentown Central Catholic held off by Freedom
September 18, 2023: Allentown, PA 18102 In Monday's non-league game, the Freedom Patriots (Bethlehem, PA) football team tipped the host Allentown Central Catholic Vikings (Allentown, PA), by a score of 8-6.
The Patriots (3-1) will now prepare for their game against Whitehall (Whitehall, PA). The Zephyrs come into the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Whitehall was tipped by Emmaus (Emmaus, PA), 28-6, in a non-league challenge.
The Vikings now sport a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Parkland for a non-league challenge on Monday, September 25. Allentown Central Catholic will meet a Trojans team coming off a 44-6 non-league win over Nazareth Area (Nazareth, PA). The Trojans record now stands at 4-0.
