New York High School Football - Oneida drops to Canastota
September 18, 2023: Oneida, NY 13421 In Monday's non-league game, the Canastota Red Raiders (Canastota, NY) football team knocked off the host Oneida Express (Oneida, NY), by a final score of 34-16.
The Red Raiders (2-1) will now prepare for their game against South Jefferson (Adams, NY). The Spartans come into the non-league game with a 1-1 record. In their last game, South Jefferson toppled Tully (Tully, NY), 28-20, in a non-league game.
The Express now hold a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they host Carthage for a non-league game on Monday, September 25. Oneida will battle a Comets team coming off a 55-22 non-league win over Westhill (Syracuse, NY). The Comets record now stands at 2-0.
