September 18, 2023: Roanoke, VA 24018 Craig County Rockets (New Castle, VA) supporters left the game in high spirits Monday as they observed their volleyball squad top the host North Cross Raiders (Roanoke, VA), 2-0 in a non-league match.
Next up, the Rockets clash with the Bath County Chargers (Hot Springs, VA) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, September 19. Craig County will attempt to advance on its 3-1 season record. The Chargers come into the match with a 4-2 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Highland (Monterey, VA).
With the loss, North Cross drops to 1-5 on the campaign. The Raiders host Virginia Episcopal School (Lynchburg, VA) to clash with the Bishops in a contest on Tuesday, September 19.
