September 18, 2023: Whitesburg, KY 41858 The John Battle Trojans volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Letcher County Central Cougars / Lady Cougars to 0 in the Trojans non-league victory on Monday.
The Trojans now have a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lee for a non-league game on Tuesday, September 19. John Battle will meet a Generals team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Gate City (Gate City, VA). The Generals record now stands at 0-2.
The Cougars / Lady Cougars (0-1) will now prepare for their game against Eastside (Coeburn, VA). The Spartans enter the non-league game with a 2-1 record.
