The Highlands Highlanders soccer team scored 9 points and limited the visiting Tri-County Jaguars to 0 in the Highlanders league victory on Monday.

Next, the Highlanders face the Swain County Maroon Devils (Bryson City, NC) in a Smoky Mountain 1A contest, on Wednesday, September 20. Highlands will attempt to better on its 5-4 season record. The Maroon Devils enter the contest with a 2-8 record after their 3-0 league win over Cherokee (Cherokee, NC).
