The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Buckhorn Bucks (New Market, AL) and the visiting Fort Payne Wildcats (Fort Payne, AL), saw Buckhorn's volleyball squad nip Fort Payne by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, Buckhorn upgrades its record to 24-10 on the year. The Bucks travel to Hazel Green (Hazel Green, AL) to play the Trojans in a 6A Area 16 bout on Tuesday, September 19. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 23-7. Hazel Green lost 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Marquette (Chesterfield, MO)

The Wildcats now own a 20-11 record. They play next when they travel to Westminster Christian for a non-league bout on Monday, September 18. Fort Payne will play a Wildcats squad coming off a 3-2 league loss to East Limestone (Athens, AL). The Wildcats record now stands at 8-12.
